  1. Does anyone know what happened to the black current Luxe? I fell in love with colour. I've seen it in old catalogues but was it actually produced?

    1. It certainly was! I reckon Jennifer at My Purpley Life will be best able to help! Purple/ blackcurrant/ mauve - she's an expert! Here's a bit of proof for starters! http://www.mypurpleylife.com/2013/02/a-list-of-purple-filofax-organizers.html?m=1

  2. Hello! Has anyone seen a Lockwood Garnet in person? The photos on the Filofax website look rather brown-ish still, I'd like to know whether it really is a deep, solid red (like red wine, or indeed like garnets) or if that brown tone I see on my monitor is truly there. Thanks!

  3. Hi Gail, I have a garnet Lockwood in personal size. Mine is a beautiful autumn like very dark red (maroon). So yes there is a brown undertone but to me my binder doesn't look brown. When photographed the colour looks much brighter than it is. I have seen other ones in person that were a brighter shade of garnet though. These binders seem to vary slightly in colour.

    2. I think it might have been the A6 ones, I've updated the files. Sorry about that.

  5. Everybody probably already knows, but I just worked out that the MTN passport inserts fit perfectly in the small Filofax flex cover. That is my diary sorted for next year - the undated monthly and the undated weekly insert. These also slip into nicely into a side pocket on a Personal or Pocket Filofax.

    1. Absolutely! It's a great shame that the Flex by Filofax range has been cut right back - undoubtedly before being phased out in the next year or two. Last year the diaries were not issued (a poor Letts "compatible" product was marketed to fill the gap). For 2016, the year planners have also not been produced. This means that the only genuine Flex inserts are old stocks of notebooks and address books,

Fortunately, Midori Passport items fit perfectly into both Flex and Filofax pocket products. I've ordered a dated monthly MTN book for 2016 and hope to receive it tomorrow. I will use it to log exercise and health and transfer it between my Flex Pocket, MTN Passport (Star Line) and Holborn pocket, depending on whether I'm cycling, back packing or at home.

  6. For my Franklin pocket binder I tweaked my Wo2P insert that has long lines on five days and short lines on two days. I can easily modify it because I drew the format in pencil. I dislike the short lines even for two days. I note meals for lunch and dinner at the end of a long line to allow room for an appointment at the beginning of the same line. I cannot write the meal and an appointment on a short line. On my new layout there is a large uniform space on all days, and I did not use pages that fold out or additional sheets. The large space is equal in size to the one on the insert before the change.
