Free for All Friday No. 377 by Nan

So, how are those New Year's Resolutions holding up?

Specifically, how is your new 2016 setup working? Are you still using it?

For me, my work A5 is working perfectly for me. My personal Personal would work better if I used it better, as evidenced by the fact that Steve had to remind me that it was my turn to write the FFAF.

Now that you've had a month to get comfortable with your 2016 organizer(s), are you finding that it's already time for some tweaks?

Of course, since it's Friday, all planner topics are welcome in the comments as well.

  3. A couple of years ago I saw a Filofax day planner diary for the personal size. It might have been Swedish?

I can't see it on the .se website and can't find it on ebay.
    Can anyone help?

  4. ETA I think it was a personal sized equivalent of this for A5

    1. Wow... this layout looks very interesting to me. But to answer the question: no haven't seen it before.
I'd love to have it, though.
Currently I use the D2PP setup by Steve and Ray from here, with some additions.

    2. I had that insert once... it's a lot of paper!

I don't recall the personal size version... although we have our own equivalent in Week View for Personal, A6 and A5

    3. Maybe the Day on 2 Pages for personal size? Timed on the left hand page, with tasks and notes on the right hand? I believe this has been discontinued, sadly.

    4. The Time Management/ Professional range was only ever produced in A5. See Guest Post

  5. My system is working great but I feel drawn to from switching to a week on two pages to a day on two pages. Not because I haven't got enough space on my week on two pages, it's great. But I am wondering whether to move my separate journalling which is in another part of my planner with my planning...like on Franklin Covey pages.

The decision wouldn't come until next year bit I just don't know! Why ruin a great system? But...is there a better system out there waiting for me to try?

  6. I had planned to change my set up from the 1st January, but have come to the conclusion that it already works & I shouldn't mess with it! As long as I actually use it & keep it up to date it seems to suit me very well.

  7. I'm really liking the DO1P inserts I have. I think I may skip the weeklies next year.

  8. I decided to switch my A6 from Week per Page plus Tasks, to my newly created Enhanced TM Week View insert that we made available last month. I printed and punched off the pages last night I need to run through it today and add in my appointments.

  9. I switched to the Business Diary One Day per Page for 2016 and I've found I really like it. It allows me to track the necessary information I need for my work day but still provides me with ample space for non-work. I use a Month on Two Page calendar for long range planning and have found this to be very helpful in managing the multitude of projects I am working on at any given time. So, for me, there are no changes needed in my A5 setup (yet).

  10. I am determined to use my Kate Spade inserts this year. Not too fond of the layout, but I like the paper. Should that not work out, I've designed my own layout but will have to sacrifice on the quality of paper. If it's not one thing, it's another.

  13. I am using DO1P for the first after using WO2P for over 15 years and I really like it so far.

  14. I am using the same binder (Franklin pocket) and week insert that I designed last year. My page is shorter than personal size but there is a large space on all days. I do not prefer to write on paper that is very tall and short in width. My week on three pages insert has the same number of sheets as a week on two pages one.

  15. I totally did not have my sh1t together in time for the new year so I made use of the philofaxy WO2P for my personal, and DO1P for my work A5. They're not pretty, but they're functional and I'd already decided that the decorating wasn't really me. I'm wondering, though, if I'd do better on WO1P with a blank notepaper between.

  18. Are the Filofax pocket sheets with four holes and six holes interchangeable in the two binders?

    1. This should explain the difference between the two:
