Whilst you can sort of use Evernote, they now have their own app called Scanable which will search, focus and instantly photograph your pages and send them to Evernote itself. I think the likelihood of someone breaking in, taking the backpack and getting access to my entire identity information and online persona is by FAR bigger than an earthquake or fire.
