ReplyDeleteI'm currently using my one and only Filofax :) A personal Dakota.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I bought a personal Ranger off ebay for <£10 including postage, mostly because I was going through the traditional A5-is-too-bulky dilemma and it was cheap. Also because I'd seen a few people talk about them on Philofaxy and was curious. But I assumed it was just a test binder to see whether I really could get on with Personal size or not. Turns out, I really love it. More than the personal Cuban I bought from T K Maxx a few weeks later! I spent two weeks in the Cuban and basically stopped using it because it Would Not Lay Flat, and because the shiny brand new leather made me super stressed about the idea of scratching/marking it. The Ranger is already used, and the leather has a different (more natural, less polished) finish, and just generally exudes an aura of rugged, durable competence. I use it very nearly every day, and it's the first binder I've carried around the house with me! Now if only the pages were just that little bit wider... :-)
ReplyDeleteSusan Mac's comment reminded me that I completely forgot about wallets!!
DeleteI have a pocket Chameleon which has been doing very good service as my wallet since the Philofaxy meet-up and visit to Filofax offices in Burgess Hill, last September (blimey, it feels both like that was only a couple of weeks ago and also forever ago). I love it - tried a similar thing with a Pennybridge earlier in the year and it Just Did Not Work. The Chameleon is a lot fatter, which the Pennybridge couldn't accommodate/adjust to, and the zip was annoying too. I also absolutely love the big pocket across the pack of the Chameleon, it holds more receipts than cash but I just love opening it up :-)
I don't have one yet but I really want to get one (when I find a job)
ReplyDeleteI'm using my personal Ochre Malden as my only planner. I also have a personal Raspberry Chameleon, and am thinking of moving back into it for a little while, just so it doesn't get lonely. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm using my personal black Holborn as wallet and planner. My other 3 Holborns are used for archiving/storage/planning and I rotate about every 3 weeks. I love my Holborns dearly!
ReplyDeleteI use a Raspberry Finsbury A5 Filofax--I'm a one life, one planner kind of girl!

ReplyDeleteDon't have a Filofax yet. Been drooling over them and all the fun things people are doing with them. Making do in the meantime with an upcyled planner from the thrift store. I've recently decided to switch back to an actual planner instead of trying to do it all digitally...that isn't working for me so well. So I am experimenting to see what I actually want and will use before investing in a filofax.
