Are these all non-leather styles? It would seem that their marketing demographic has made a major change over the past year. It hardly seems the same company anymore. What an unfortunate choice of direction.
Austin, I agree with you. When I read the headline for today, I got extremely excited to see some luscious leather. I sincerely hope Filofax doesn't lose sight of what has made them successful.
I would love to know why these are being released today! Two days before Christmas and far too late for being purchased as gifts for young women (which they all look as if that was what was intended).
All Orders Placed Today 22nd December Will Be Dispatched On The 23rd And Upgraded To Next Day Delivery.
But I suspect these are early, in previous years we wouldn't have seen these released until about February, so they have moved things forward, may be not far enough forward though....
I would have bought the Tweet one in both sizes until I saw international shipping would have been 40 pounds. Ouch. There wasn't any other options for slower shipping, either. =(
These seem very whimsical. I personally would not be comfortable pulling them out in a professional environment. They would be great for my teenage daughter though, if she were into Filofaxes...
I feel underwhelmed by these new planners. PaperChase already does low-cost, synthetic and textile whimsy. There are new refills for 2016 which are quite pretty: http://www.filofax.co.uk/illustrated-diary-pack-2016.html.

Well with the prices around £35, none of them is leather.

DeleteBut lots of people are against leather industry so fabric or faux leather is great

Personally I feel for non leather, the quality is just as good, and cheaper, at Paperchase. Although I do love the spring colours of the geometric.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone find it odd that it's not even on the website yet?
ReplyDeleteThey are on the UK site, but I think their site now redirects you to your local site.

ReplyDeleteI must be losing my mind. I now see the butterfly but that's the only one that I see. I will keep looking.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to wait till it's available on eBay. That way I don't have to spend nearly $60 for shipping to the US.
