The Flex cover just isn't able to cope with such rings! .20mm rings would force the paper contents 7mm to the right, meaning the pages would stick out. Also, to accommodate 20mm rings would need the a Flex spine (where the rings would be fixed) to be 7mm thicker. This leaves less space for the remaining cover (front and back) to protect the contents, meaning Tim Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04320789185450598620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18497333.post-48298477657328244612014-03-19T04:57:17.982-04:002014-03-19T04:57:17.982-04:00Holly, thanks so much for this, I was really curio...Holly, thanks so much for this, I was really curious to see how you did it. Its a brilliant organiser, and looks fun too. I think there's no point having an organsier if all it does is look good, but doesn't work for you. For me, the clue is in the name - if it isn't helping you to be organised, then it isn't working, and I'm much more keen on the practicalities of using one Paul Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13834134905640040795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18497333.post-55218868570839084172014-03-19T04:54:43.814-04:002014-03-19T04:54:43.814-04:00Hi Tim. Id it that the far edges of the pages stick out from the flex? or is it that there's so much in it that the covers can't close? I found a seller on eBay who has 20mm A5 FF inserts, but your experience seems to say this wouldn't work. Its a pity, I really like the idea of a very slim A5.Paul Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13834134905640040795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18497333.post-7009315825537859482014-03-19T03:42:55.962-04:002014-03-19T03:42:55.962-04:00I like how you have really made this work for you,...I like how you have really made this work for you, and really that is what its all about isnt it? having an organiser that helps you...organise! enjoyed reading this. thanksempressbathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07199522138340709100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18497333.post-32642549508647638122014-03-19T03:34:16.129-04:002014-03-19T03:34:16.129-04:00This is great!!!This is great!!!LJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16778171833372717942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18497333.post-44354653574304881842014-03-19T03:22:45.113-04:002014-03-19T03:22:45.113-04:00Hi Holly - I love your Felixflex! I'm delighted that, nearly two years on, my old post here on Philofaxy may have - in a small way - inspired you (and others) to hack a Filofax and make something more suited to your needs! I would urge others to have a go as it can be a lot of fun (with an occasional bit of frustration!).<br /><br /Tim Edwardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04320789185450598620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18497333.post-43581282512323420292014-03-19T02:03:10.831-04:002014-03-19T02:03:10.831-04:00Wow, thank you Holly.
