I broke a lug on my Holborn Slimline two years ago. I glued it and used it daily since! It sounds as if these had been broken off and the previous owner had tried to glue the mechanism instead. Check that the lugs haven't just been bent down for some reason but take care - they do break off if repeatedly bent. Upon opening, I saw the ring component has completely come away from the binder. There is a very small film of glue residue on the binder - that amount of glue could never have held the binder in place. Should I contact Filofax and get their advice? I replaced my Franklin pocket binder with the cover. However I envisioned a new insert for 2017. It is a yearly one with a large space of each day.
