  1. Not a question, but I've just re-purposed my first Filofax (a pocket Songbird) to take to the gym (new member), so I can remember what I'm doing and record times/distance etc. I'm currently using post it notes stuck to existing pages because I have no pocket size pages, or the inclination to make any. I'll pick some up when I'm next in town. The back pocket of the Songbird just about holds my phone too which is handy, I'm glad to have found the pocket Filo a new purpose :)

  2. I received an email from Filofax Australia (www.filofaxshop.com.au) with some very enticing prices. After umming and ahhing I made my decisions and then, lo and behold, my colour choices vanished into thin air. I suppose it saved me from myself after all I don't 'really' need another Filofax ! LOL

  3. Has anyone ever repaired a tear in the leather of a binder? A recent eBay acquisition has one on the spine, where the leather has creased with opening & I'm wondering if it can be fixed, or if it will get worse...

  4. Marks and Spencer have new purses with the CardSafe technology which is basically a special lining that blocks scanners and radio waves, ensuring no payments can be taken from your contactless credit /debit card whilst in your purse. I thought about Filofax implementing the same technology in their organisers within the leather card sections, so I contacted Filofax UK and the reply I received was they have no plans at the moment to include CafeSafe in their range and my comments will be forwarded to their product development department. Fingers crossed. After having a recent operation I am conscious of the amount of items that I carry inside my handbag, and currently I am using a stunning Adelphi slimline in scarlet (which is divine!) as both organiser / purse. It'll be a shame to be about town and be subjected to illegal scanner activities. Just a thought.

  5. Did I imagine that there were going to be new leather planners sometime soon?

  6. Wondering where is the best place to buy a cheap but reliable personal size filofax hole punch?

    1. I'm afraid that, as is so often the case, the words 'cheap' and 'reliable' can't comfortably be used in the same sentence. The FF branded punch is *horrible* and specifically designed to cause injury whilst simultaneously being not fit for purpose. I love my KW Trio, which Paul B brought across from the Netherlands after I had utterly failed to navigate their supplier's obtuse Dutch website (it's obtuse even after translation by Google). IMO it's the best tool for the job by far. It's set you back between £20 and £30 if you have it shipped - always assuming you can successfully order it in the first place! Maybe a kindly Dutch Philofaxer would like to set up a small business ordering and re-shipping these, because they are GREAT punches.

  7. Quick question. Does anyone know if there is a commercially available diary refill of week to view vertical with room for tasks like the one Steve and Ray have made for a personal size.

Not sure I could face printing and punching!

    1. Filofax France have a vertical Wo2P, and I believe Denmark do also. However, given that you're talking seven columns across two personal pages (or six if you irritatingly combine Saturday and Sunday), I doubt you'll be able to find one which fits in tasks as well. Personal page space has definite limitations!

    2. Thank you David. I like my tasks daily at the bottom if each day so this could be adapted to my needs. I will check it out.

    3. Hi Ani

If there isn't enough room for a daily task list at the bottom, you might have to settle for an interleaved To Do sheet......hardly satisfactory but the only other solution I can think of for getting your tasks 'in sight' when using Wo2P

  8. Can anyone recommend a proprietary range of 'top tabs' please? I don't do crafts........:)
