Free For All Tuesday No 189

Tuesdays are your chance to ask any Filofax related questions you might have.

Even if it is not Tuesday, you can still post your questions here, just pick the most recent FFAT or FFAF.

So fire away and we will collectively try to answer your questions or offer opinions.

  1. Can anyone help me picture what a 'Next Actions' Filofax would be structured like? Sections, inserts etc? I'm thinking of setting my standard Van Der Spek up as this, a detailed breakdown of subject/project/hobby specific to-dos so that I can see my steps realistically. I know many of you use GTD, what does your Next Actions section look like?

    1. And this reminds me yet again that I still haven't written a post about my GTD set up! (to be written next week)

My next actions section starts with my most important tasks for the week (from Zen Habits). I find this helps me focus on what needs to be done. Sometimes I use an old calendar insert but it's normally just on lined or blank paper. I then have my to-dos by context (home, errands, phone etc.). For me, my next actions section is where all the thinking is done & it's broken down into something that's ready to do.

      Full details to come...
