The guy that used to look after Yard O Led at Filofax retired I think, but I think they were more or less an independent company based in the Midlands somewhere.
Has anyone else bought the B5 Deskfax-sized binders from the Chinese sellers on Ebay.co.uk?
I ordered a diary insert to see if if fits my Deskfax, and it has just arrived and fits perfectly - so I've placed an order for a full binder with inserts from them. I'm not expecting the quality to equal that of a Filofax, but it is nice to find someone still making the Deskfax size - the perfect sized binder in my humble opinion!
It's a Filofax size which is larger than A5 but smaller than A4. It uses nine holes, the spacing of which allow Personal sized paper to be filed within, albeit sticking out of the top or bottom just a smidgen. Filofax still produce diaries and year planners for it, but not much else.
Its size means that it's not too large when open on the desk, yet is more than adequate to write in and hold information.
If you search this site you will find various references to it... the trouble is, you might then realise that you want one as well!
Is "Yard O Led" dead?
ReplyDeleteLooking at the Filofax UK website, all the pens and pencils of that brand seem to be out of stock when you open the item.

DeleteMay be ask on their customer service form
Pen Sense in Nottingham (local, independent shop) stocks Yard O Led. If you're not local they're also available through their website.

Thanks Sarah - it's good to see a shop like this still in business.

What is a deskfax size? I've never heard of that.
