  1. Sad to read about the death of David Collischon. In popularising the Filofax he really set the foundation on which our Philofaxy community sits. The Telegraph obituary is interesting, although it would have been a nice touch if they could have used a picture of a contemporary Filofax from the period when David was in charge.

    1. BTW - the story about the incumbent staff prior to David's arrival discarding orders in the bin because they were unfeasibly large is one I think he particularly liked to relate.

  2. I would love to have seen his own Filofax - well used and battered I expect.

    1. The Express obituary has a photo of him holding what looks like a black 5/4" ring Winchester. The rest of their photographs are lamentable though, depicting what seems to be a random selection of stock photos of diaries.
