Tell us about...... 6

So there must be one organiser in your collection that you will never sell, no matter how much someone offered you for it.

For me it is of course my Filofax Winchester, my very first Filofax

Please tell us in the comments below.

  2. Hi Steve

Would definitely have to be my Lockwood over my Malden but the Malden would be the very last to go

  3. It's my black Winchester. I have bought it not so long ago in very good condition (the plastic on the strap is still in its place), for 2 dollars at an auction. It has a gold "BASF" logo in the right bottom corner. I thought "two eighties classics in one" ;)I'm in a country, where not many people are interested in planners, not to say, vintage planners, so I hope to find some more :D

  4. My Purple and Pink Maldens, can't use them anymore because the rings are too small for my everyday functional planner, (trying to figure something out that I could use them for actually), but I would never sell them, love them to pieces. (I even mailed Filofax begging them to make just ONE model with super large rings, and preferably make it a Malden because that is their most popular design. Never heard a word back. Done some research and a few comments out there where people are very unhappy with Filofax because they don't listen to what their customers want. Would been nice to at least have gotten a letter of acknowledgement.

  5. Similarly to Steve, my old Winchester would stay with me forever. It has endured half a lifetime of wear, and I think it should keep going for the other half, despite its slightly dodgy top rings!
And my black 3CL slimline is another. Amazingly it could still pass as new at first glance.

  6. My personal size DayTimer Malibu in Rose Gold. Even the rings are rose gold. I can't part with it no matter what.

  7. My first Gillio Amica in red epoca, my hand tooled planner, and my purple Gillio Compagna in purple epoca. If no had to grab only one in a fire, I'd have to grab the hand tooled planner because I could eventually replace the others.

  8. My Baroques. One in turquoise and one in pink. The turquoise would be the absolute last to go!

    1. Amanda, I would say the same thing--I love my Baroques!!! (I have the pink, the turquoise, and the black and I don't think I could choose which is my very favorite!)

  9. My Grey maldens. The lady above mentioned having larger rings...for me I would prefer them to be zipped...perfect.

  11. Hey Steve, I have looked through the YouTube links on 'Inserts for 2017' and have searched myself however I still cannot seen to find anything to suggest how to print a week on one page in the size I require.
The links show how you can mail merge and edit by adding bits but Notting to change the size of the document when it comes to printing.
Could you offer on other suggestions?
Is the an option whereby I could give my email address and have someone create a document for me and email it back to me so I can print off?
All I require is a week on one page of A4 which is double sided ideally with lines and has a small calendar at the top then I can cut out to size.
    Thanks

    1. We still haven't established the size you want. I think you actually want Personal on A4 size. Which we already offer just look at the lists on the diary inserts page.

      Personal size is 17.1x9.5 cm

    2. Steve yes I have checked the Personal on A4 and found the one I need in terms of size which as you said is 17.1 x 9.5cm, the one I like is no.6 on the list but it does not have the horizontal lines or a small calendar at the top of any pages.. is this something which can be done?

    3. You mean mm not cm.

Yes you could download the source files Word and Excel and change that one if you want. I doubt if there is space for a calendar at the top though.

  12. My very first ring organizer I offered to me. It's a Creeks stationery in polyamid (before the 2000 year), in a supermarket, not expensive at all. Once I lost it at my work(4 years ago), I look for it during one week, asking if someone saw it... And when I found it back, I decided to let it at home definitely. I was so sad during this week!

  13. My fairly recently acquired Dorchester though bridle Buckingham would come a close second. I wouldn't give up my first (Winchester) but I doubt anyone would want it as it has my initials on it.

I'm not sure about "no matter how much" but it would have to be extortionate price to get me to part with any of them.

  14. I gave away a green limited edition A5 Kikki K planner last year to a person i dont know as she had stated on a group that she wantes to ne more organised and wanted to know if a folder could be uaed as a planner as she was only just recently employed and had little money. I know i could have sold it but i never used it and dont lile things not being ised so i was happy to help her out. I would however not sell (or giveaway) my purple Maldens in personal and A5 they have the perfect leatjwe colour and finish, the rings seal properly and they are the ideal bimders for me. No ptjwr planner has ever come close to them for me
