I am using the A-Z tabs in my reference section to store all kinds of information. Plus an index as page 1 because sometimes I cannot remember where I put stuff :-)
I use mine as an index for notes. For example car info under C etc. Ive got passwords (coded) under the relevant letter and use address sheets for them. I also have a separate set of A-Z tabs with actual address/contact info.
I keep my passwords in A-Z, in code. All of my contacts are kept on my phone and in Outlook. I used to keep reference info in A-Z, but switched it to category dividers with top tabs (shop, home, pets, etc)
I store project plans (lists of actions) and reference materials under the A-Z tabs. Also agenda lists (things to discuss at next meeting with...) by person's name etc. If it can be filed, that's where it lives.

ReplyDeleteI do pretty much the same thing. My A-Z are a mobile file cabinet.

ReplyDeleteI have relabelled some tabs to use as an index in a large box of spare inserts.
ReplyDeleteI use A-Z tabs for two different organiser: one for videos and another one for music CDs. I use address pages for the records of each.
ReplyDeleteI got some lovely faux leather month tabs from Etsy and covered the A-Z part so I now have sturdy monthly tabs, does that count? ;)
ReplyDeleteThat must be in A5, right? Or if in personal size, how tiny are these faux leather month tabs?
DeleteI use them for contact information and reference I formation.

ReplyDeleteI use them in my pocket travel planner as reference with an index (hotel, plane, taxi, restaurant etc).
