  1. Hi Steve. Have you ever produced any videos on how to make your own inserts?

    1. Hi Ian
As in diary inserts or normal inserts such as To-Do lists etc?

There are videos on the diary inserts page about how to edit our files, but that doesn't really go in to how to start from scratch.

Let me know what you are thinking about and I can think about creating something that meets your needs.

    2. Sorry, I had forgotten about this post. I've always wanted to be able to design and print some basic layouts to make my own inserts. My biggest problem is that I have no idea how to set the borders and then copy that to the following pages. Any help is welcome!

    3. For me it would be Personal and A5 but I would like to know more about all of them. I appreciate you looking into this Steve but please don't spend to much time on it!

  2. Hi Steve,
I faithfully used a journal for nearly 10 years to record family activities while out and about. when getting down to the last 2 pages I set about ordering a new note insert but shock horror cannot find anywhere on google with paper to match. Despite days of trawling the internet I have resigned myself to trading in and closest I can find in size is A5 (though its a few cm's smaller). However my concern now is finding a file with rings big enough to accommodate our past exploits with room for growth. Any advice gratefully received!

    1. Hi Charlotte.
Yes this is becoming a common problem in various areas, diary inserts that are no longer made, notebooks that disappear from shelves never to be restocked etc.

When you say finding rings big enough how thick is your stack of paper?

    2. My old journal was 24cms long x 17cm width approx 2cms deep. I'm now attempting to copy it all into an A5 6 ring style so with the smalle paper size I suspect the stack will grow in size.
