This week we go back to 1989 for the Lefax 1990 catalogue, kindly sent to me by Sheldon.

  1. Nice binders and clean inserts, that don't have the current messed up international Filofax insert layouts with more than one language wasting precious writing space. Nostalgia sets in when such excellent products make place for the current and worse options.

  2. I use the pocket WO1P w/notes. The only flaw is the multi language format.

    1. I only use the personal MO2P english version from Filofax, plus a weekly spread from Chronoplan, which is a german company. So, combined both worlds in a way that I find useful. In the past all my FF purchases came with the international inlays, which I found annoying to say the least.

  3. Thanks Sheldon & Steve for sharing these.
Lyme Street is a further address to add to the historical list that we’re gradually accumulating.
Murray Street was on there already, but transposed somehow to London!
And rue des Francs evidently became the Filofax France office after Filofax took over Lefax.

    1. Do you have anything for St John Place, London for either company? I have a vague recollection of seeing something at that street but I can’t think where!

    2. Don’t think I’ve come across that one Steve, but I’ll keep a look out.

  4. I just found this blog and I will have to explore it more, but I can confirm that there was an office on Murray Street in London and New York. I have an envelope from Lefax London Wood partners with two return addresses: 9 Murray Street, London NW1 9RE, and 9 Murray Street, New York, New York 10007. I will share a photo when I can, but it may be a while before I can.
