  1. Hi - I am a collector of vintage Filofaxes and was hoping you could please help me with two unusual Filofax items I have. Both items are dark grey leather and seem to be part of the same range. The first item is a document folio / folder which would hold A4 documents and is stamped in gold 'Real Calf 40313'. The other is a large ring binder folder which is also stamped in gold 'Filofax Paperwork Organiser Real Calf 030201'. It contains an unusual rotating mechanism along the spine with clear plastic A4 wallets marked 1989 Filofax Ref 030211 and notes on how to use this organiser.

I have looked at the 1989 Filofax Catalogue on your website but cannot find these particular items and cannot find anything about them on the internet.

Have you come across these items before and if so can you give me any information about them at all.

    Thanks

    1. I’ve not seen the A4 size mentioned in catalogues until around 2004. (There is a bit of a gap in our records available here just after the turn of the millennium.)
It may be that the items you mention are undocumented products.
Would be interesting to see some photos.

    1. It's not possible to upload directly to the website, however if you post the photos on an image sharing website such as Photobucket or similar you can share links to the photos in the comments.
