  1. There is a brand out there called Aura Estelle, which does rings with strings in my much loved A6 size. I was wondering though what booklet inserts do folks put on the strings and what on the rings? Or do they just ignore the strings bit? I am a bit wary of going with my appointments schedules on strings notebooks and wonder how traditional ring planner folks such as me, adapt to a hybrid planner set up ie rings AND strings? Congrats BTW on the 500th edition of FFAT. xxxxx

    1. I use a combo of rings (appointments etc) and a notebook for daily “logging” but I carry two seperate books. The hybrid brings them together into the one “cover” I guess.

    2. Thanks Samantha. Yes, it brings it all together under the one cover. I like the idea of daily logging though. xx

  2. Does anyone know where I can find A5 Filofax compatible page lifters? Page lifters are those hard plastic pieces with the oblong holes that are at the front and often the back of ring binders. They keep the pages from getting caught under the rings. Thanks for your help! And Yay Philophaxy! for the 500th FFAT!

    3. I got a supplier for mine A5's from a You Tube vid by Joshua la Porte. Yet for the life of me can't remember the supplier. May have been Day Timer or Day Plan?? It may be worth looking at his older YT Vids, when he used an A5 as the supplier may be in his links list below the video. Josh is an awfully lovely guy and well known Philofaxer. His videos are well worth a looksie doo anyway!!!

  3. In a post that had something about keeping and storing old pages, there was a picture with a really neat device. It was elastic that had a long piece on both ends so that you could feed it through the pages and still be able to flip through them. I have looked, but I couldn't find the post. What was the name of the gadget?

    1. Treasury tags are probably what you have in mind. They are normally string rather than elastic but come in different lengths.
