  1. I was wondering if there was any post on here as a Q&A? I bet there's people on here who know a lot and others who don't. Information exchange!

Or if not anyone know of a planning/ planner/ filofax user wiki anywhere. Or lists of tips.

PS my best bit of information came from reddit linking to an old post about opening filofaxes correctly. Recently reposted on here I noticed. It's little gems like finding out about those tabs for the first time that's a joy.

  2. Does anyone here have a Moterm planner? Does it feel waxy to you? And if so, does this wear off with handling, ie with hand oils. One final question, does anyone find the A6 30mm rings in reality not to offer a huge amount more of space? Thanks. Any feedback hugely appreciated here. xxxxx

    1. I haven’t noticed a waxy coating on my black personal Moterm reviewed on here a few months ago.

I also changed the rings to 30mm a few weeks later, I wanted to see if the cover was big enough and it is. It isn’t a big step change compared to say 23mm to 30mm in say a Filofax personal would be

    1. Nothing official from Filofax yet, but a few distributors have announced some info - take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNKvVifpgZU

It sounds like additional offerings will be forthcoming later in the year.

    2. No details, but there is something going on. As this Gernan article from September 2020 tells, some specials were being prepared in cooperation with Filofax retailers: https://www.cutes-magazin.de/news/lieferanten/08-09-2020-filofax-setzt-auf-jahresendgeschaeft/

    3. And here I found an article about 100 years of Filofax - unfortunately it is in German: https://www.cutes-magazin.de/magazin/heft-archiv/heft/cutes-2021-ausgabe-3/?no_cache=1&cHash=49749304e538164e7679258cbaabc46d#p=39

  4. Since everyone's so chatty today ;), does anybody know when they put out the Original in lemon yellow in the United States? I stumbled upon it last night, and it's pretty nice. The yellow looks so pretty that it almost makes up for that giant piece of elastic inside the front cover that I admit is very handy, but Lord is it ugly.

    1. Take a look through the catalogues I think we might have them that cover that period.

  5. I just wonder it's better to review binders in a written blog or forum review rather that a video. It seems to me that filofax type of organiser users prefer to post review videos. It just seems like a lot of time showing hands waving around when a photograph and a few words gives the information quicker.

I think it's more of a filofax type thing. Bullet journalists and bound planner users seem to be more into forum, reddit or blogs.

I might be wrong and there's nothing wrong either way. We all have our preferences.
