  1. I'm looking at getting back into fountain pens with my filofax. Currently Parker and lamy pens with their ink cartridges. I find I smudge badly and it looks messy. Does anyone have advice? Perhaps there's a good ink that dries quicker or a pen that lays down less ink? I find a fountain pen completes the feel of using a filofax but I need to find a faster drying solution so I can realistically use a proper pen.

    Any suggestions?

  2. Filofax used to sell blotting paper inserts (double width personal).
Might be a bit laborious to use but maybe you could consider creating something like that?

  3. Using a finer drier nib helps. You get much better results from, say, a Japanese brand Platinum with a UEF nib than a western Lamy or Parker with an EF nib
