In my searches for vintage filofax organisers and accessories, I have seen that there was a line of books under a "filofiction" name. They look like an unbound book that you would add to your Filofax to read and save yourself the trouble of bringing a book with you. Occasionally, I would see them on auction sites and on book sites. As this line is now discontinued, I've never seen any article or post about them. Who published them? How many were sold? What titles were available? Who's idea was it? Was it a collaboration between a publisher and filofax? If someone has any more information on them, I would be happy to read about them.

ReplyDeleteFilofiction does seem to have been a collaboration between Filofax and a publisher, but you’re right there’s very little written about it. I think it was quite short-lived - maybe only a year or two.

filofiction trademark novels published in a format suitable for incorporation in a PERSONAL ORGANIZER
Filofiction - best-selling novels by authors such as Jeffrey Archer scaled down to fit a chapter at a time into a filofax - is on the way. The slimline novels are to be launched in September.

It may have seemed that publishing conglomerate Octopus could not come up with a less appealing idea than 'filofiction,' novels in loose leaves with holes down the left margin, that fit into Filofaxes.
