Hi, I made one of the posts above and was directed to here for more help. I have a heritage that I love but the rings are attached via 'poppers' and no longer attach. Am trying to find out how is best to repair? Have you any suggestions you can point me to?
ReplyDeleteThe rings on the Heritage are slightly unusual. There are clips inside the mechanism that grip the posts. This is supposed to be quite a secure method of securing them. But we have heard of them coming loose in one or two cases.
DeleteHow old is the organiser? Have you tried contacting Filofax Customer Service about the issue?
Thanks for the response - its about 5 years old, and customer services won't action without a receipt which I cant find. Is it possible to purchase replace the entire ring and backplane?
ReplyDeleteEmail me: philofaxy at gmail dot com and I can give you some straight forward advice. Easier than doing it in the comments.
