Looking back through my previous posts here, I've realised that it's been a while since I did an update on what I currently own.
- Black Kensington personal - for those regular readers, you will know that this is my all-time favourite. I've always loved this model and the leather on this one has softened wonderfully with age.
- Black zipped Holborn personal - whilst I adore the buttery soft leather on this, I'm not sure about using a zipped Filofax, so it hasn't been in use as much yet since I got it last year.
- Tan Argyll personal - purchased last year and this is definitely another keeper, like my Kensington. Post to come.
- Black pocket Cavendish - a recent purchase that I bought as a bit of an experiment (as I've never used pocket size before). Post to come.
I'm not a collector (as discussed in Steve's post), but consider myself an enthusiast, so this means that I will tend to have a clear out from time to time, which I quite enjoy as it means that I get to try out different binders. Whilst I will always return to my Kensington, I've very much been enjoying my Argyll for a change.
What organiser are you using currently, and how often do you switch between them, if you have more than one?
And as always on Fridays, please feel free to discuss anything organiser related. I hope that you have a great weekend.
My trusty burgundy Lefax Westminster!
ReplyDeleteMy active set is small at the Moment:
ReplyDeleteA Chinese Pocket format used as my "Kitchenfax" (recipies and quantities).
A Rhodia Mini (White Goat) used as Time Planner.
My previous time planner was a Succes Mini. The first inserts were combo punched to fit Filofax Mini as well. But as I did not switch to the Filofax, later inserts were punched for Succes Mini only.

If your Argyll 2CLF is as supple as mine is, I'm not surprised you're enjoying it. Mine was a bit of a suprise bonus in a lot of four Filofaxes from eBay, with a Winchester that is stiff as a board.
ReplyDeleteJust shows how much variation there is within a model; some have lovely, supple a Winchesters, that flop open perfectly. My two barely creak open more than a few inches...
Not that I use Personals expect for holding my recreated inserts, sticking with my little P5KL for day to day use.
