I work in academia and at the moment using my original personal for all my planning needs. But there part of me that says an A4 would be great to carry all my lecture notes etc and my diary in with a separate pocket planner for my home life. Especially as I walk between campuses and dying really stay at my desk Really tempted to buy an A4 Finsbury but is it a good idea???

ReplyDeleteSorry don't really stay at desk, not sure where 'dying' came into it!!
ReplyDeleteI work in academia too and carry an A4 Filofax in a wheelie briefcase and a handbag compact personal Filofax,my Regency, when working. My A4 is a vinyl style non leather one and is just for notes and work plans timetables etc to hand.It does work for me.I'd give it a whirl to see if it suits you too. A lot of paperwork can stay at home or in a filing cabinet at work for reference so my A4 is to hold only stuff I need to use today around and about with me and back home too, selected policies marking guidance etc, not used for appointments though. A decanted into planner really my A4. The only drawback in jobs like teaching/lecturing is the huge paper mountain and lugging of stuff around, so narrowing the focus into what I directly need today to carry minimally is my solution!!!I need to use Cloud storage more maybe going ahead. xxxx
