My husband and I happen to be in the middle of a home improvement projects: new siding and doors on the outside of our house. Since he's the one managing everything, there's no Filofax involved, but you can bet there would be if I had to coordinate something like this!
I would probably keep all of the tasks and appointments in an A5 Filofax that I use for everything else in my life as well, so nothing would get lost, along with file folders for all of the relevant loose papers. In my case, keeping everything all in one place is the best way to ensure I don't forget anything.

This made me smile because i plan everything in my filofax and my husband either doesn't write anything down or writes it on the back of an old scrap of paper. So i shadow plan behind him, which he secretly relies on. When he makes an appointment I get the time and date quickly and get it in my diary so that when he’s turning over every random bit of paper he can see i can pull the date out before he starts to turn the cupboards out! Our latest project was new wooden security gates. Next one, new car port. All in my filofax 😊.
