Filofax give the Malden a very modern makeover
Filofax have introduced two new colours to the popular Malden range – a refreshing aqua and a classic navy. The range includes eReader and iPad Sleeves as well as organisers with tech-friendly features.
Perfect for using paper and technology side-by-side, the A5 Malden Zip includes an iPad holder, removable organiser and notebook. The Compact version has a wallet functionality and smartphone pocket.

Filofax has noticed some confusion following the recent publication of their Malden press release and have asked me to clarify for readers.
“New colour aqua is being introduced to the Malden range of products in all models except the A5 Zip, Compact Zip and Pocket Zip. Aqua follows the launch of navy in selected models last month. There is no change to any features of the Malden range.”
*wiping the drool* I want a personal aqua Malden, but I can't wait to see what the insides look like with all these enhancements!
ReplyDeleteI'm confused? Why would the insides of the Personal aqua be any different from the current colours? Did I miss anything ...?
DeleteNo, it looks like the personal has no changes, but the other sizes do... so I'm just interested in seeing those, though I only want to buy a personal size. :) Sorry if my comment was confusing.

ReplyDeleteI hope that the surface is not shiny -- that's the one thing I don't care for with some Maldens. I returned a grey b/c of the shine and my ochre is perfect and not shiny. This looks lovely and more matt than shiny.
Time to sell some stuff to be able to get one!

DeleteI want the Navy Compact Zip so badly but it's not on the website yet. Although the press release said it should be available from 6th May. Well it's June already... I'm so confused. Can somebody clarify? Please...
I think Filofax only have themselves to blame for any confusion. First they say : "Filofax gives the Malden a very modern makeover". And then later the very same day, we have : "there is no change to any features of the Malden range". Which is it guys?

ReplyDeleteI actually just called the cusomer service number for filofax USA and the said the original will be available around june 20, and the new maldens around july 22. Hope this helps.

Hi Everyone - I've been following Philofaxy for ages but only just worked out how to post!! Just to say that I contacted Filofax in the UK a couple of weeks ago and they told me that the Malden Compact Zip in navy would be available here around the 25th June - so still quite a wait.
ReplyDeleteWe're in July now and the Aqua Malden is no't available anymore (?). Do we know if there will be another batch released ? It's so gorgeous (I like the A5)
ReplyDeleteI spoke to US Customer Service today. She said to call back at the end of August and the personal Aqua should be available on line then.
DeleteCheck with US Customer service late August or early September. Aqua Malden should be available then.
