January the 25th marks the annual celebration of Scotland's national poet Robert Burns. I was wondering if any of our Scottish readers will be celebrating Burns Night? Maybe you could have some of the poems ready for a recital at supper printed in your Filofax...
And as it's Friday, please feel free to discuss anything Filofax or ring bound organiser related.
I celebrate Burns's Night sometimes with mince and tatties, shortbread and cranachan, not always with haggis, though I do love it. I have a choice this year as Chinese New Year is also on 25th January and normally I'd cook a Chinese meal. Sweet and sour haggis, or haggis chow mein will not do!! Heee heee!! My question here today is, when do folks start to print out their planner inserts before the New Year begins? Seems to have taken me ridiculously long this year, so am curious here as to how and when folks do the big print off, in one fell swoop, or in sections, and how far in advance, as will re-schedule this next year. Thanks for any feedback. Jane.
ReplyDeleteI print mine in about October normally, I did them a bit earlier this year though because I started to get dates cropping up in 2020 before the end of the year. I already had a year planner in my organiser for 2020, but it was getting a little tight for space in that!
DeleteThanks Steve, that's earlier than I started out for 2020. Yet I start Christmas shopping in October, so that should also be my cue to start buying new Peanuts Planner inserts and also my cue to print my regulars from the Philofaxy freebies.Christmas cards get bought first, so that will nudge me along. Thanks Steve.
