I wonder how the double ring one, Charterhouse, worked. How where the two sets orientated when closed?

Ah, I see. That’s a rather clever design! I cant imagine carrying one around though.
DeleteBut having the rings at the same position takes up lots of space. In the given example, it even takes more space than two binders.
DeleteThe space saving alternative is to have the rings at opposite sides, and let the two stacks of paper overlap. However, this takes up more witdh.
