Free for All Friday No. 304 by Nan

How does paper planning affect your thought process? Does it propell your thinking into deeper issues, or help you take a step back and return to basics?

As always on Friday, all discussion related to ring-bound organizers is more than welcome!

  1. I have adopted stream of consciousness as a creative method for: any complex problem, situations where I have multiple demands on my attention, and where I need some innovation. I write at speed in one colour at length. Then I go back and annotate all the ideas and actions that emerge in another. These I transfer into my Filofax as a prioritised structured plan. This method has changed how I think through and work out problems. I would not be able to do it without working on paper and using my Filofax.
