We all have that dilemma Trina. None of us can resist buying binders, but most of us really only use one at a time! It's even worse when we have different sizes, because you can't then migrate to another binder so easily.
Does anyone else find Filofax UK 'products back in stock alerts' infuriating?
I keep receiving the email notifications after midnight UK time, I wake up at 6am, click onto the product links and every item is out of stock! Are these email notifications "fake " emails? Or if they are authentic then Filofax UK should hold more stock. Why send the news alert so late at night do they only wish to attract non-UK buyers? Or am I the only person that sleeps at night whilst everyone is still awake shopping :-)
Yes Jene, I had one this morning about a Yard O'Led pen I had been interested in. I've had a moan already about the lack of Filofax products in general this year, and I wonder what the future holds? I'm glad I've got sufficient binders to go into, and the resources to print inserts!
A lot of junk or mass emails are sent during the night when the companies servers are potentially less busy. Someone will have composed the email and then set a time for them to be sent. I unsubcribe the email alerts from companies that pester me.
Time Manager (TMI) Original leaves have the same hole spacing as Filofax Personal. However they are 180mm x 110mm rather than 176mm x 95mm. This means they will stick out width wise in most Filofax binders.
Thanks Tim. Actually more interested in the dividers. Filofax USA has not had 6 tab dividers in stock since July! What a way to run a railroad--they are going off a cliff. I am sick of them.
As I was designing by hand my inserts I thought of the Filofax A5 Time Management weekly ones. I like the layout and decided to draw a smaller version that fits in my Franklin pocket binder. I used narrow ruled notebook paper and made some changes to their layout. I wrote each day farther up and I moved the phone section to the left page. My right page has a long column for Priority next to the Schedule one. I have five lines each for Monday and Tuesday and four lines for the other days. I have enough pages for two months and it looks neat.
Hi Maria. My pages look pretty nice. I used a pencil to draw the columns and emphasize the lines between the days. At some point I want to design my pages on the computer so I can print them. For 2015 I will use either these pages or a week on two pages insert with lines that I bought.
I keep rotating through 3 of my fav binders, but cannot ever settle on one. If I could mix them together I'm sure I could satisfy my binder dilemma?

ReplyDeleteYou're so right dandihen, I'll unsubsribe to the e-mail alert tonight as not to be disappointed in the morning.

ReplyDeleteVery interesting. The Time Management weekly is the main reason I'm using an A5, it is my favourite layout.
