Sad reality. Pocket slim Lockwood not available in any color anywhere. Looks like Filofax has dropped this one for good. One of my all time favourite. Its signals that the Filofax does not favor small slim cases anymore, unfortunatelly. Poor sales or shift in focus despite the fact that brands like Plotter still favor small rimgs and slim profile. including Pocket size and M5.
ReplyDeleteI think I saw one on ebay or vinted last week. Pocket lockwood that is. If you're looking for one perhaps secondhand might be the way to go. There's a few lockwood filofaxes for sale in a few sizes.

DeleteFilofax doesn’t make its own organisers but orders them in batches from third parties. Sometimes there is only one batch of a particular model or colour. When it’s sold out, that’s it! They may commissuon another batch of Pocket Lockwoods in the future. They may not.
DeleteThere are pocket slim lockwood organisers available on the Australian Filofax site still, might be worth checking. I did look on the German filofax site but they were out of stock there.
DeleteI do have red and navy but regardless the business model is quite interesting. I did not know they produce in batches. Chester line is a good example to prove your point. Nowhere but in UK some are available. Still, if you do have entire line in the catalogue like Lockwood is, one would expect the full repertoire will be available all the time until the line is officially dropped. I was interested in Chester Passport cover but its like not available anywhere.
