2026 Filofax Global Catalogue

Filofax have published their Global Catalogue for 2026, of course this will be a picture heavy post so I have put a jump break in after a few pages.

There is also a link to the full PDF at the end of the post.

Summary of changes spotted so far.
  • No more QR codes - no scanning required! Do you think they have been taking notice?
  • Removable rings available in smaller/different sizes in some models.
  • Removable rings also available for purchase as accessories see the end of the catalogue.
  • A5 Zip Malden, new model with 25mm rings
  • Some new diary insert formats sans QR codes!
  • Several new colours in existing models
  • Possibly other changes I might have missed...

  1. I am glad they have removed the QR codes on the inserts. I like my analogue systems to stay that way. A break from computers, and the reliance on the digital world, plus the QR codes took up valuable page space.

  2. I am also very happy to see that the QR codes are removed; that alone makes me want to come back to buying Filofax inserts again.

  3. Having removable rings and spares is a great thing. However, you should be aware that a change in ring size is only possible in a very small range, due to the different spine width.

Zippered models are also good to see. What I am missing are claspless models. I really hate clasps, because they take up space and are completely useless, and now they remind me of the tethered caps law. The clasp issue was one of the reasons why I chose the claspless Succes Mini over Filofax at the time I used the mini format. Either open, or zippered. Side note: I chose the claspless Bible Slim as bonus item when I ordered the Filofax Miniature. Unfortunately, it's very stiff, and way too thick compared to the small ring size. Now I have a Buttero Box on order.

I wonder how Filofax will handle the quality issues that popped up during the last years...

  4. No QR codes: yes, they have probably been taking notice of the app download figures (and I'll bet there is some embedded activity monitoring code in the app, reporting on usage...)

  5. Unfortunately it does looks like Holborn, Heritage, Chester is no more (?) as well as disappearing color and size options for Lockwood. Thats a bad news overall. They are simply moving out from premium leather. I do not see any acceptable offering to replace these for a gentleman use. Still wish there will be a pocket Lockwood comeback. Nothing for me I am afraid.

  6. I like the look of the forest green Finsbury and the zip Malden.
I smiled at the classification within the inserts as ‘trendy’ which makes it sound old fashioned in an instant!
