Free For All Friday - No. 916 by Anita

Looking back through my previous posts here, I've realised that it's been a while since I did an update on what I currently own. 

1. Black Kensington personal - for those regular readers, you will know that this is my all-time favourite. I've always loved this model and the leather on this one has softened wonderfully with age. 
2. Black zipped Holborn personal - whilst I adore the buttery soft leather on this, I'm not sure about using a zipped Filofax, so it hasn't been in use as much yet since I got it last year. 
3. Tan Argyll personal - purchased last year and this is definitely another keeper, like my Kensington. Post to come. 
4. Black pocket Cavendish - a recent purchase that I bought as a bit of an experiment (as I've never used pocket size before). Post to come.  

I'm not a collector (as discussed in Steve's post), but consider myself an enthusiast, so this means that I will tend to have a clear out from time to time, which I quite enjoy as it means that I get to try out different binders. Whilst I will always return to my Kensington, I've very much been enjoying my Argyll for a change. 

What organiser are you using currently, and how often do you switch between them, if you have more than one?

Booklet Printing - Update

In a post back in 2024 I shared my frustration with you that Booklet Printing had seemingly disappeared from MS Word and at the time I wasn't sure who to blame until the finger pointed at Microsoft as the culprits. 

In that post I shared a variety of work arounds on how to print in booklet format again, none of them very elegant. 

Well either Microsoft have realised the error of their ways or they hid it from view but booklet printing is back... 

MS Word365 Mac

Tucked away in the 'Pages per Sheet' option in the Print Dialogue box at the bottom of the list 'Print As Booklet' is there! 

Easy for Mac users then!! 

Windows users it's a little more involved, but I fount this support page:

And yes it worked:

As with any change to your workflow I strongly suggest that you experiment by just printing say the first 8 pages to check that the results are as you expect them to be, rather than printing the whole file and then discovering that printed results are only worthy of the recycling bin. Lots of wasted paper and ink/toner.
