Free for All Friday No. 934 by Nan

If you're reading this blog, you're probably familiar with using a ring-bound binder to organize, manage, and plan. But have you used one for something more, shall we say, humanistic?

For example, you can use it as a journal for gratitude, therapy, dreams, happiness, philosophy, and so on.

As always on Friday, all discussion of ring-bound organizers is welcome!

  1. Well, my Filofax journey started with a pragmatic need to store pages of an instruction manual I developed, that is continually growing and revising. Not very 'humanistic' or introspective, but not the classic planner use. More like a return to the original Lefax use as an updateable/changeable field manual, though...

  2. I've used one in the past for happiness, which was based on The Happiness Project book by Gretchen Rubin.

  3. I use Filofax * similar binders as a book journal, project journal, inventory & reference binder etcetera. I use notebooks of all types for all sorts of things, the lovely 6 ring binders are for more permanent or thoughtful collections.
