I bought a new personal compact Heritage in 2018, brown. It stays on my desk, has never been thrown into a bag. The inside cover is now peeling off around the edges. I guess the buffalo leather was only on the outside and some other kind of thin leather was glued on to the inside.
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem and covered the inner lining with PV leather repair. It worked quite well.

I like the size of the compact Heritage but the material quality has put me off using it. So much so that I have switched to an all leather organiser from PeachPearLove from Etsy. It is slightly wider but has similar ring size.
That’s really annoying. I’d heard there are variations in the quality of materials that have been used on the Heritage models. Sadly they are proving an unreliable alternative to the vintage models they aim to emulate.
