Gastinne Renette?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know the company Gastinne Renette in conjunction with leather goods, especially organisers? When I first searched the name, I thought that Google found the wrong company, but it turned out that those where just the "wrong" pictures.
I bought three organisers that appear to be high quality leather. There are three sizes: A5/26mm, Personal/26mm and Pocket/16mm.
The seller on the platform with the colorful letters currently has two of each size listed (one sold, that was me).
Best regards,
Hans
In the meantime I did some research.
DeleteAccording to Wikipedia, Gastinne Renette was a famous gun maker. In 1989, a leather goods related company used the name Gastinne Renette for leather products, but stopped the business in 2002.

The ring binders are most likely from that period.
Relaunched in 2024. No organisers in their current product line.

Oh, yes. I think I came across that website during my initial research (before the purchase), but could not find it again afterwards.

I'm really happy that the organisers just have the plain Gastinne Renette lettering, no pistols.
