Web Finds - 27 April 2013

I'm starting today's post with a video of an interview with the Filofax CEO Gordon Presly, which was conducted on the Filofax stand at this weeks National Stationery Week show in London. 1. Filofax CEO Presley waxes lyrical about his vision for paper and electronics businesses working together. It would be nice to see this put into action properly, instead of just assuming Filofax iPad covers is enough. Moleskine have partnered with Evernote so you can write in a standard-sized Moleskine, photograph it with with the iPhone and search INSIDE your handwritten text. I'm currently using this for transcribing PhD interviews. Why can't Filofax do something similar? Also, Livescribe is out there, waiting for a FIlofax tie-up. I mean, just improving the standard of the common or garden filofax paper would be a step in the right direction. Let us hope the changes in ownership bring changes in quality, in the right direction.
