It's nearly May! I've heard from so many people that May is the busiest month in their year. Parents with kids in school are preparing for the end of the school year (in the US) and graduation parties abound. Some lucky folks are making plans for summer trips. And for others, work gets especially busy this time of year.
What about you? Will May be a busier than usual month for you? How are you using your Filofax to handle all your upcoming plans?
And as always on Fridays, feel free to discuss anything Filofax-related.
Happy Friday everyone!
May is job application time for a September job so I am busy plotting closing dates, interview dates and related stuff in my teaching Domino. Added to that, kids exams and the beginning of days out in my personal and I'm a busy bunny.....
ReplyDeleteAnd my birthday at the end deserves a party too, doesn't it?
Hello all! Sorry, a bit off topic but I was wondering if anybody has any voucher codes for the Filofax website, either for free delivery or preferably money off my purchase? There's a half price compact Osterley on there with my name in it! :-) X
ReplyDeleteTry DISCOUNT20 people where using that a few days ago, not sure if it's still working or now.
DeleteSteve, I officially love you. You just saved me £17.50!!!
DeleteMy planner is in overdrive, as it always seems to be. I have something going on every weekend (minus one which I'm determined to leave plan-free) between now and mid-July. It seems that the only "slow" time of year for me anymore is maybe January. But that's not always the case either. But, I have a lot of fun things planned in the coming months, so it's worth it!
ReplyDeleteI have to turn 50 on the 30th before May comes next Wednesday. My personal red lizard I got on Valentines Day is in overdrive with planning my trip to Florida tomorrow and with job applications and interviews. Hopefully May will be extra special for me with a job offer!
ReplyDeleteMay is likely to be extremely busy for me - a major project at work will be in 'crunch' mode in May prior to user acceptance testing in June for a release in early July, our latest canine addition needs training - she's a rescue dog who still needs to learn that the world is not out to get her - and around the middle of May is my 24th Anniversary of meeting my partner and 7th Anniversary of making it official with the bit of paper. Fun and games!
ReplyDeleteHa! I have a rescue dog who doesn't realize he's a little fish in a big sea. He's part Jack Russel and his ego is bigger than his actual size and growls and tries to chase big dogs. Training on my agenda as well! Congrats on the anniversaries.
DeleteYes Cheryl my rescue Jack Russell thinks he is a Great Dane! I think it is a trait of theirs which you won't lose! However I found dog training did a lot to 'socialise' him and he is much more friendly to other dogs too (unless of course they start looking at his sister who is a lab - then he gets annoyed!). It also helped with the bonding - I think rescues always have some baggage that remains with them.
DeleteJust back from vacation so agenda a bit neglected except for the prior trip planning and a few trip highlights. Came home to a dead laptop so computer repairs, a new phone, and job hunting will fill my agenda this upcoming month. And in the U.S. it's the beginning of the busy summer season of weekend activities and commitments so the calendar will fill quickly!
ReplyDeleteMy centre at work is closing in May and I'm moving to a different one. Its going to be a bit hectic more so than busy but lots more in the diary as I'm never quite sure what/where I'm working and lots of note taking :)
ReplyDeleteNot much going on for me right now, my Filofax is being neglected, off to find a life!!
ReplyDeleteI have my 2 son's birthdays, my nieces birthday, a family holiday and a school half term this month.
ReplyDeleteBusiest month of the year so far!
