A seasonal question...
ReplyDeleteFilofax released a limited number of Reindeer Hide Filofaxes in 1986, with the model reference RHF 7/8. Does anyone know how many of these were made? I have seen mention fo 200 or 500, but it would be nice to know for sure.
Hi Gerard - the Japanese Filofax collection site (sadly no longer online) contained photos of one of these numbered 490.
DeleteHi Max, thanks for your reply. I noticed that Japanese photo on This Bug's Life. I have No. 193, but it is stamped in a different place - top left of the front ring guard. I picked it up from Andy Morse of City organiser, but he wasn't sure whether there had been 200 or 500.
DeleteThat’s a nice thing to have. I just checked the Bugs Life photos you mentioned and interestingly the photo of one numbered 480 is a different image to the one I’d seen saying 490!
ReplyDeleteThanks - I use if for the month of December each year :-)

ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
Looking in the archive copy I can see there were five of these recorded - 176, 280, 360, 480 & 490. All numbered at the lower right.
Mo Carr posted about a German Filofax diary insert which I noticed used the old Elephant font. Do Filofax use this font on any English language inserts?
