Hello Everybody,
ReplyDeletetoday, I received a package. It contained the 1996 limited edition "Grace Scurr". This Filofax was used daily for many years. It´s color ist shiny dark-brown now an it has a wonderful patina. Stitches and ring mechanism are in very good condition.
Even the original extra leaflets are still there. The calendar and addresses are missing, note sheets seem to be complete.
My question: does the original edition have had a ruler? In the report here in Philofaxy from 2021.12.09 a ruler is not mentioned.
Many thanks for any information and a good time to you all
Robert (from Germany)
Hi Robert - no sign of a ruler in any the photos I’ve seen of this
ReplyDeleteHi gmax,
ReplyDeletethank you for your information. i have not seen a ruler anywhere in this context either. But to be on the safe side, I wanted to ask the specialists
greets, Robert
I am undecided on which size to use this coming 2024 year. I have several sizes, A6,A5 and personal. I used A5 this year, but I yearn for a new size spec as was in hospital for a long time and used my William Hannah A5, but it reminds me of all things hospital!!!!! I love it, but originally it was ordered to use as a notebook. Any ideas here of a re-vamp and re-fresh!!!!????? I really am dithering for 2024. xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteIf it was me, I'd try putting together a simple set up in each of the sizes & test them out to see how they work.
DeleteSorry to hear that you were in hospital & I know what you mean, as I used a beautiful red Winchester for hospital appointments when I used to be a carer. I also found that the Winchester just reminded me of that, so I eventually sold it. Hopefully you will be able to use the lovely William Hannah again after a bit of a break from it?
