Reflecting on the discussion after the call finished it occurred to me that what writing instrument you use on a daily basis is quite a serious business when considering what to use.
There are so many types these days, and at all price points from budget right through to luxury pens.
What is your pen (or pencil) of choice to use in your organiser?
I always come to the conclusion that Filofax paper is made for ballpoint pens. Although I love fountain pens. Filofax paper is probably so thin on purpose and the colorful paper is sometimes even slightly waxy. Long live the 80s - decade of the ballpoint pen ;)

ReplyDeleteFrixion 0.7mm erasable and (in Pocket Slim) a small propelling pencil with 0.5mm leads.

DeleteOh,depends on....!Love my Coleto-multicoulour-pen,for colour-coding (son1=orange,son2=green,me=pink).My patient sign with a ballpoint(Gillio,comes with the planner).In my A5 Stalogy (mostly lists)I use my vintage fountain pens.Oh,and I NEVER carry my fp in my bag or the penloop of my planner.Never😅
ReplyDeleteI use a cheap mechanical pencil from Bic. It’s erasable and works on all types of paper.

ReplyDeleteI decide between middle range ballpoint and fountain pen, almost on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteI use original filofax inserts and some selfprinted on Clairefontaine 50mg paper, both are working for me.
Perhaps it's because of using fine nibs on my fountain pens.
Mine is so old I cannot read the brand on it anymore. It’s like a Bic, very simple, I think it was a Pilot Pop. Luckily, I bought several refills in advance, so I can go on with my beloved plastic ball pen.

ReplyDeleteSheaffer fountain pen (gift from my lovely wife) or matching ballpoint (ditto). However, my diary is exclusively in pencil as things continually change, so Pilot mechanical pencil. And Muji black eraser :D
ReplyDeleteI change my writing tools often. Today in my A5 Original midnight blue planner is a Frixion Click in Navy Blue and a Zebra Sarasa Grand in blue. In my shirt pocket is a burgundy Cross Century pen (red OEM refill) along with a blue Cross
