I was recently successful in bidding for a vintage leather personal filofax (1990s, according to filowiki) recently and when i received from the seller I noticed the ring mechanism cover is either scuffed or has some patina on it. Is it possible polish up the cover back to a decent shiny appearance?
ReplyDeleteI am also an owner a 2020 personal metropol and I recently noticed the rings have gone rusty. Is it possible to remove the rust from the rings or remove the riveted ring mechanism so I can use the folder as an EDC notebook binder?
Is there any way of cleaning it back to a shiny condition.
