Does your Filofax have a theme? For example, have you fashioned it to resemble a famous diary from the past, such as Benjamin Franklin's? Have you outfitted it with all things Pokémon? Do you fill it with words, colors, and pictures that inspire or calm you? Have you created a manual that your favorite fictional character might use?
Me, I tend to be too busy using my organizer to decorate it, but I could imagine making it look and feel like a handmade travelog, that an explorer might use to collect sketches, maps, and artifacts!
Not my thing at all, use planner to plan, its very functional, I do use beautiful covers and try to put some pretty dividers or Dashboard but the actual planner Pages are not ‚styled’ in any way.
ReplyDeleteI print my own pages, so I use a few select seasonal Westie pics and add a monthly quote. Otherwise, it's a "normal" planner.
ReplyDeleteIf I were ambitious, mine would be the Winchesters'. I'd love an artsy planner, but like I said, ambition...
ReplyDeleteIf I had the time and artistic ability I would still keep my filofax plain without decoration. Even cream paper is too fancy. My filofax is purely a tool to organise myself with. Any decoration would be a distraction and I feel it would make the FF fail for me in its primary function and only function of any significance IMHO.
ReplyDeleteI use photo dashboards and photo dividers in mine. I change them out with the seasons. Summer is always my favorite color of turquoise.
