Free For All Friday No 731 by Laurie

Recently I printed my Philofaxy monthly pages that I've been using for several years for social media post planning. It got me thinking about other pages I print to put into my Filofax.

I use an A5 Filofax, and print directly to A5 size paper which I then hole punch and put into my binder. I print all kinds of pages to put into my Filofax, including:

Philofaxy free printables (of course)

School calendars

List of deadlines and important dates

List of board meeting dates

Reference/ emergency information (insurance etc)

Phone numbers list in case my phone is lost or battery dies

And more.

Anything with dates is of course written into my weekly planning pages. But often it's easier to find, for example, the date for the next meeting or school holiday when they are all printed on a single page for easy reference.

What types of pages do you print to put into your Filofax?

And as always on Fridays, feel free to ask and/ or discuss anything ring binder organiser related!

Happy Friday everyone!

  1. I've had and used Filofaxes since the mid-1980s. I've used personal, slim, Deskfax (which was a great size) and A5. Now that I am retired, I thought I would use my Filofax less, but far from it - I use it more, if anything, especially the A5 size. Having discovered that I can print on A5 in my printer (which I know everyone else will know about, but it took me time to discover), I now use that to print and keep track of orders and appointments etc. It has helped me keep track of not just what I am doing and what I am planning, but also what I have ordered and when I expect a delivery. And the Filofax never lets me down - it still functions perfectly well when the internet is down!

  2. I use an A5 at work, and since I'm in the states, I've learned to use half letter paper. It took a little getting used to, but not as much as I expected, and works just fine. I have a template in MS Publisher so I can quickly copy, paste, and print articles that I want to keep with me, and I print all my own inserts. I have a WOTP with appointments on the left and to do's on the right, and it works beautifully for me. There is another section for all my notes, including meetings, and I have sections covering the main topics of my job. My Filofax is somewhat legendary within my team.
