How would you compare other 6 ring folder brands against filofax ones? Are they more basic or complex? Do some have the similar number of pockets or just a plain folder like the filofax heritage? Which brands are equivalent and similar in prices both new & used? Which are overpriced luxury fashion brands? Which are workhorses? I've never really looked at them except perhaps VDS or galen. They seem a lot more expensive than filofaxn for what they are I reckon.
ReplyDeleteI would love to find a satisfying and simple hole punch for my Domino. I am in the US. Should I just get the filofax one? I have read a number of reviews that are not so good. Appreciate any input that means I don't have to torture myself endlessly. I already own a number of punches. FC, Arc, and a Rapesco (does not accommodate A5). Thanks in advance!

DeleteI bought a Rapesco clone in 2017 called "Chris-Wang adjustable metal 6-hole paper punch." It's wonderful. I punch ALL of my paper (including plain lined that I print myself) for both an A5 and a personal, so I'm moving the punchers constantly and they still snap smartly into place. The description says the holes are 6mm, but mine measure 5mm. Solid metal construction currently selling in the US for $18.69 and it's made in Taiwan.
Does anyone know of a personal size organize made from a waxed canvas-like material similar to the Urban? I've been using a Logic i got on eBay, but the material is quite bulky. I placed something in the Adspot for an Urban and have been on the lookout but I haven't had any luck
