  2. I'm coming back to Filofax after a stint in Franklin Covey and other planners and the difference in ring size is huge. I've been searching all through Philofaxy for posts on the must have sections for Filofax users. I'd love to hear what the current Filofax users are using.

  3. I'm the proud owner of an A5 Lockwood. Lovely piece of kit.

I'm using the FIlofax-sold tabbed dividers, but the design means I can't have more than 6 sections before the tabs start overlapping and I start to twitch.

How have others solved this deep existential crisis? Attaching tabs to the top or bottom? Using those colourful sticky tab things?

Oh, and no, sorry, I'm not looking to compress my layout into 6 or fewer sections ;-)

  4. Michael, I've added smaller tabs in between, for example a menu tab in my info section at the moment, labelled with my label maker in smaller print. I've also added an extra laminated page marker, top tabbed just after the extra dividers just so they are easy to find. I label these with my label maker. If you want any to cut down and try out for yourself as page markers, let me know and I'll post you some on to try out. Are you on Facebook? If so message me on Facebook messenger.I'm Jane McCourt and follow loads of planner groups,so easy to identify!! xx

    1. Thank you Jane! I'm not on Facebook or most other platforms these days. Cutting down the tabs to create more space to play with makes a lot of sense. I also have a label maker (having been convinced to get one by the Getting Things Done book) so that should help make the text small enough yet still legible..

I've plenty of spare dividers to play with so should be good to go, but thank you anyway for your kind offer!

  5. I looked for a personal data/info page on Philofaxy eg an if this planner is lost, please return to followed by an address and an in an emergency please contact..... dad, with his name and phone no.Do most folk have one of these pages, or is it a security personal data risk?? I couldn't find one, so made my own. Filofax used to do a planner registration scheme but as I've got a VDS I can't use that method. Thoughts on this anyone?? xx

    1. I just stick with name and email address. There's hopefully not too much people can do with that! I tried to use the Filofax planner registration system about 6 months ago but was firmly told it was officially shuttered.
