  1. Love filofax but looking for a pocket one to turn into a wallet. Thought I had a red cuban but turned out to be a personal. Love the leather on it but given the choice
    Cuban or Holborn?
I have noticed that my cuban has a sort of outside that when I moved the tab has cracked and come off the leather. Is this normal?
Thank you in advance for any opinions

    1. Holborn is a great organiser in most sizes, the internal pocket arrangement is very good, plenty of pockets to store most things. They also did a personal zip Holborn, the zipped ones have a slightly different internal layout but still very good.

  2. Can Moterm rings be upgraded to Krause rings? How do I determine if the Krause rings will fit on the Moterm backplate?

    1. The Moterm rings use a different method of securing them to the backplate. They use two screw bolts. So they are easy to change. You can get replacements from Ali Express, I ordered some 30mm Personal rings for my Moterm Versa and swapped them.

To fit Krause rings you would need to also obtain the back plate and insert that in to the binder, you might have to cut the leather to get the old one out.

The Moterm rings aren't the best quality, but certainly not the worst I have come across.

  3. New to Filofax. Looking to get an A5. I am retired so just using it for personal use. We are remodeling a house so just need it for time management and to remember to do all my to do list things. Is there a list of weights. I would like a nice leather that doesn’t weigh a lot. Also not too stiff and able to lay flat. Any recommendations thanks Sandy
