  1. I have a question about ballpoint pens, does anyone use them anymore and what is your favourite? For some time now I am unhappy with the choice of my pens, to be honest since my absolute favourite pen got stolen I have only been using random ones and I think now its time to invest.

I used LAMY ballpoint and I absolutely loved it back then. I will buy one if I find locally (they do no longer manufacture it). I have now found Stabilo refill (parker style) and use that in Parker Jotter XL.

    Any recommendations?

Any favourites you can recommend that

    1. I'm currently enjoying using some vintage ballpoints that belonged to my late Mum - Parker Jotter & Paper Mate.

    2. I use them! As much as I love the customization of my Pilot Hi Tech C Colleto, I go through those inks quickly. I use the Paper Mate Quatros, both the standard 4 color and the bright 4 color.

    3. As a collector of higher end ballpoint pens, my current favorite is the Esterbrook Estie series in quite a range of beautiful colors. They are very high quality and well balanced in the hand. I also have all of the True Writer ballpoint pen colors (a collection from at least the last 30 years) from the Levenger Company. Again, very high quality, excellent price point and very hardy--I use them daily. Also, check out their beautiful classic office products, and their refills can take a ho-hum ballpoint pen into a dream writer. What's that saying?--Life is too short to carry an ugly pen.

  2. I am a 4 colour Bic ballpoint user. I like having the choice in one pen.

    1. Oh classic! I have few of those around! To be honest I do like multipens but didn't come across one that feel good in my hand and writes nicely. Bic are a little bit scratchy for my liking. I have recently tried Frixion but they are too fine!

  3. I use ballpoint Papermate Ink Joy pens. They write nicely and are inexpensive.

  4. My absolute favorite is the Bic Cristal Ultra Fine in purple. I'm not sure if it's made in other colors, but purple makes me happy. The new version may be called "Exact Fine."

  5. I used a buc 4 colour pen that had a mechanical pencil as one of the pen colours. I really use pencil a lot and prefer the uniform lead size of mechanical pencils but also like the ability to use various colours top.

  6. I am preparing to order my first custom VDS, but I have a question. In the A5 manager standard layout, will a folded piece of U.S. letter size (8 1/2 inches by 11 inches) paper fit easily in the slip pocket or do I need to change it to a secretarial pocket?
