Hey there, I just came across your website today while looking for ideas for making my own personal planner inserts. Usually sites like this are defunct from 2014, but I'm glad to find that you're still posting even today!
I only just got my personal sized filofax (I originally wanted a pocket, but alas, I need the zipper to make sure no notes fall out while on the move) and am trying my best to use it as a way to keep myself more organized. I have so many tasks and thoughts I am always trying to juggle, and I'm hoping this might be the planner I actually stick to using.
One of my favourite things to do is to roam around the web and read about different niches with their unique histories and communities. Do you have any favourite articles that you'd recommend for someone who's a newbie to the "Filo-verse"?
    Thanks for reading this ramble,

    1. Hi There and Welcome to Philofaxy.
Where to start? Well that might be a difficult question to answer. We have been here since late 2005 in one form or another. Posting daily since about 2010, so as you might guess there are a lot of posts.
Looking at Philofaxy with a conventional browser rather than a mobile device.
Across the top you will find links to different pages.
This recent post will help you with what they are:

      https://philofaxy.blogspot.com/2022/05/philofaxy.html

There are diaries you can print for your organiser as well as other templates.

We have a podcast "The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Plannerverse" Each episode is about 30 minutes in length and they are more or less standalone they are all here:
      https://philofaxy.com/podcast/

Down in the side bar of the blog you will find links to all the various topics we have covered.

We have a virtual meet up once a month on Skype, details about those appear under Round-Table

Free For All Tuesdays and Fridays are just that the place for discussions and asking questions.

Wednesdays is generally a post about video web finds

Saturday's we have a general web-finds for blog posts, but as you have discovered there aren't many active blogs around these days.

Monday and Thursdays can be any thing else reviews, how-to, questions and answers etc etc.

Fire away anytime with any questions you have, we are here to help.

      Steve

    2. Welcome, Trying! Mr Philofaxy himself has given you a fine introduction to this site. I'm only here to ask nosy questions. Which model did you get?

Thank you so much for your comment, I missed the first post you linked to, and am really excited to take a further look into everything that's here! I didn't even know that someone would have any of the old catalogues archived, but now that I have found the index I'm very excited to give it a read through!
I actually found your site through a link on someone else's blog (post originally from 2014) towards your diary inserts. Seeing they were for 2022 led me to check the front page, and here we are!
Thanks so much for all that you've done, you've got yourself another eager party over here!

  3. I switch between my gorgeous Filofax mini executive (deluxe leather) and one of my ugly unbranded plastic pocket size binders. All of them have 11 millimeter rings and I carry the same A7 inserts in all of them. A7 has the exact same height that the Filofax mini (105mm) but it's 7mm wider (74mm versus 67mm for the mini). One of them is always with me.

I also use A8, A6, A5, and A4 binders for different work and personal purposes (notes, references, archives for certain work activities) on a daily basis. Most of the time I also carry one or two of my MEGATimer Passport size with A6 inserts with me, depending on where I am going and what I am doing.
