ReplyDeleteIs the Gillio Medium Compagna as floppy as the VDS Touch Me?
Yes they are both similar in design. Both have the full width back pocket. Both of them don't have any stiffener between the leather layers.
DeleteThere might be some textile mesh between the layers to stop them squeaking! There certainly is a polyester type mesh on the Gillio between the layers, but you wouldn't notice it was there. I just happen to have seen one that was 'disassembled' !
Thanks Steve, I was hoping that the Gillio was more rigid. I love the Touch Me design, but the VDS is too floppy for my work style. If there's not much difference between the two, I'll just have to keep searching I think.
ReplyDeleteYou could go for a VdS custom with stiffener. It is possible to specify what layout you want then including the Touch Me layout if you like that.
