As folks may know I have a painful double ankle fracture. I whipped out my VDS with meds info in it for the ambulance medics when aaked. The chap said "A long time since I have seen a Filofax!!" yet also said, "Well done on being so organized!!" Anyone else who just cannot plan on a weeny teeny phone screen??? Or would fret over a possible phone data loss???

DeleteI have an old N&H (Norman & Hill) Filofax where the top and bottom 3 rings open independently. Does anyone have any insights or evidence on when ring mechanisms would have changed to the current system where all 6 rings open together? My best guess would be the 1950s.

But I can't recall the exact date of the inserts that were in it. Not always a good measurement of historical accuracy!
